Halo! I’m Amri, a DevOps Engineer from Indonesia. Over the past year, I’ve been building and maintaining IT systems in the shipping/logistics industry.
Previously, during my time in college, I spent about three years contributing to web projects for various campus events and completing a semester-long internship as a backend engineer. That’s where it all started.
Now, at my current job, I work on the DevOps side. I enjoy the challenge of automating workflows, managing infrastructure, and making sure our systems stay observable & reliable. My favorite part of the role is breaking down silos between developers and operations, making the handoff between them smoother. It’s pretty cool to see things from both sides, TBH.
There’s indeed still so much to learn. And I am definitely here for it, looking forward to growing my skills further in security, reliability, and scalability. I’m always open to collaboration, constructive discussions, and any awesome opportunities to learn or build together. Feel free to reach out & stay tuned to this site to see what I'm currently learning and what I've been working on.
Before we move, here are some fun facts about me & this blog:
- At first, I never planned to make or write posts on on this blog; it just happened while I was exploring a frontend framewrok (Next.js) on random days back in 2022.
- I do have some background in writing from high school's journalistic club, though, so I guess this blog became a way to reconnect with that side of me.
- The blog’s UI design is inspired by Ben 10 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, kind of.
- When I'm away from the keyboard, you’ll probably find me reading and exploring different genres of novels on my kindle. Fantasy and sci-fi are my favorites.
Alright. Thanks for visiting. Let's explore the blog!
